How long will you actually wait for something to happen, for someone to come, for dreams to become reality? We live in a world full of uncertainties, always hoping to get what you want even if what you want will not benefit you in the long run. It's exhilarating to dream big. Far from what you can imagine, but will it come to pass in an arm's length, or will it be miles to where the reality paradise is?
They say being positive will give you a character. It will boost up your self-esteem. Will you still go on even if the waiting goes on and on, and never over?
I'm writing this because I, myself, is in the loooong waaiiiting time, for dreams, for someone, for something, for everything to come along. People didn't see what is inside. They didn't feel what I feel when they bombard me with questions in which I don't have answers. Funny I think, I sometimes get irritated when people always ask me questions, however, I keep on asking God, He just listens.
If I may quote from the bible on what Habakkuk said to God and how God responded to him. "I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what He will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint." "Then the Lord replied: 'Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.'" (Habakkuk 2:1-3)
God's time is different than ours. We may be tired of trying to get some answers but He has an appointed time for it. It may be that His purpose in your life is yet to come. That your testimony on how God molds you will be of greater impact first to people around you. Might as well be on the go to where God leads you, that His purpose will prevail in your life. Anyhow, we should have a grip on His promises because He is faithful on His Word.
"Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me." Psalm 63:7-8. Let this be our prayer as we wait upon the Lord.
